Palmetto Renovations recently finished the renovation of the historic building at 300 Main, and we are excited to share a part of that work with the community. We are pleased to offer our new deck, at no cost, to approved humanitarian groups and community-minded neighbors who need a place to do good.
Because of the considerable size of the platform, it is well-suited to large groups. Qualified organizations and individuals may use the space for fundraisers or collection drives—food, clothing, school supplies—and other efforts that help people in need. There will be an application process so we can confirm that each event is a good fit for the venue and for the community we share.
Preliminary availability is on Sundays from 5-8 p.m. every other month. Dates and times are subject to change as we work out the details and learn what works best.
Blythewood is at its best when we look after one another. If this space can make that a little easier, we want to put it to work. Interested groups should reach out to Palmetto Renovations to request an application.
