COLUMBIA – It has been a banner stretch for Ben Lippen volleyball standout and Fairfield County native Georgia Kate Price. The Falcons’ veteran setter and team captain added two milestones to an already stellar career in a span of less than a week.

On Sept. 19, Price eclipsed the 2,000-career-assist mark during a tournament clash against Cardinal Gibbons. Less than a week later, as the program gathered to formally honor her 2,000th assist, Price gave the Ben Lippen faithful yet another reason to celebrate-she dropped in her 200th career service ace, punctuating a milestone double-dip.

Price has served as a staple of the Falcons’ varsity volleyball program since earning a spot on the roster as an eighth-grader. Now ateam captain, her court vision and leadership continue to anchor the Falcons’ attack night in and night out.

Through 61 sets this season alone, Price has racked up 466 assists while contributing in every phase of the game with 40 aces, 35 digs, and 13 kills.

Reaching 2,000 assists and 200 aces reflects years of consistency, trust, and connection with her hitters. As Ben Lippen (13-8) continues its push through the fall season, this Falcons’ setter is continuing to leave her mark on the program record books. Ben Lippen currently sits in second place in SCISA 4A Region 1 play.
